The story in "Silver" is about a female wrestler who is really an undercover agent. Disguised as a wrestling warrior, heroine Jun Shirogane (Atsuko Sakuraba) goes after the gang that killed her family in Takashi Miike's action-packed thriller. Aided by secret service colleague Yusuke Minamida (Kenji Haga), Jun goes undercover as Silver, a formidable fighter in the professional women's wrestling circuit. But Jun's success in the ring doesn't distract her from her primary mission: exacting revenge on the Paradise gang.

The film is based on the stories Anton Chekhov. It is a tribute to the actor Boris Andreyev. He plays a major role that keeps up for the duration of the film. Lively and intelligent Valery Spout largely mitigates underline the drama of the protagonist, while Michael Sveta's role, though small, is bright and memorable.

When Billie learns that her estranged parents' lives are at risk, she tries to help them by robbing a bank. In her botched robbery attempt, she takes a hostage named Franny, who turns out to be a charmingly impulsive pregnant teenager with nothing left to lose. Together, Billie and Franny embark on a chase through scenic American landscapes, clashing and struggling for common ground in hopes for a brighter future.
